GS-1 HEADPHONE AMP/PRE-AMP
We believe that keeping a black background is one of the most important aspects in the design of any amplifier. We connect a pair of one of the most sensitive headphones in the world to the amplifier in its high-gain setting, and crank the volume up - any level of hiss or hum is unacceptable. The amp is housed in a lightly-brushed aluminum enclosure, measuring 10" W x 9" D x 2" H. The enclosure and its thick, rounded sides is completed with a hand-finished 1/4" aluminum front panel. A pair of RCA inputs, an active preamp output, and a loop (tape) output allow for multiple connections with your audio system. The AC power jack accepts any standard power cord (included). The amp can be ordered for either 100V, 115V or 230V usage. We will automatically configure the amp for your shipping location unless you specify otherwise.
An optional DACT stepped-attenuator is available as the volume control on the GS-1. The stepped-attenuator provides 24 separate volume positions with unparalleled matching of levels between the left and right channels. A lot of thought has also gone into the module-based nature of this amplifier. Each amplifier board is socketed on gold-plated pins and further secured with a pair of screws. We will be releasing new amplifier modules in the future as we continue to evolve the design, so your amplifier will never become obsolete. These module boards can be replaced/installed without difficulty or electronics knowledge. SPECIFICATIONS
