Analog Interconnect Cables

Interconnect cables carry analog line level signals between a source and amplifier or pre-amplifier to amplifier. Design and construction is important as these cables are more sensitive to noise pickup than cables at the end of the line, the headphone or speaker cables. For connectors most setups will use RCA for unbalanced and XLR for balanced.
