About HeadAmp

Yes! HeadAmp is an authorized retailer for all brands we advertise on this website. We have worked hard over the years to form great relationships with all of these brands.

Yes! HeadAmp was founded in 2002 and released its first headphone amplifier, the "Gilmore Dynamic" based on a high-end discrete design by Kevin Gilmore. Today, we still design and build all of our famous amplifiers in-house while also shipping out all of your headphone orders.

You are welcome to set up an appointment to demo our gear at our location near downtown Charlottesville, VA USA. We also exhibit at many Events throughout the year across the country and around the world. If these are not good options, you can always take advantage of our 30-day returns.

You'll likely get the fastest response time by using our Live Chat (the button at the bottom right of your web browser). No matter where we are, your message will pop up on all of our phones, and we'll respond as soon as possible. Don't be afraid to leave your email address so we don't lose you if we can't respond instantly.

Orders

You've browsed our menus or used our website search, and found the item you want dearly; now you're wondering if we really have it in stock. 99% of the time, if the product page doesn't say we're sold out, then we do have it! You can be sure by sending us a quick message in our Live Chat.

We may be able to - it depends on the item and if the other seller is an authorized dealer. The best way to ask these questions is through our Live Chat.

To check the status of your order, login to your Account, or follow a link in your order confirmation email.

Open box items are in excellent condition with all original contents and packaging included. They will include the full manufacturer warranty, and our normal shipping and return policies apply.

In some cases, there may be exceptions to some of the above, and those will be listed on the product page for the open box item.

Shipping

United States

Orders shipping in the USA over $99 include Free 2-Day Shipping.

Worldwide

Worldwide orders over $499 ship free.

We ship by FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Unless you have chosen a specific type of shipping at checkout, we do our best to choose the best carrier for your order.

Most USA shipments will arrive in 1 or 2 days and most international shipments in 2 to 7 days from our location in Virginia. A tracking number will always be provided to you.

Most in-stock items will ship the same day if you order before 4pm Eastern time. Items that are custom made for you will have estimated build times on their product page.

We ship our HeadAmp amplifiers worldwide, but many headphones, speakers, DACs and accessories cannot be shipped to addresses outside the USA.

In some cases, they may be eligible to ship to Canada or Mexico.

Look for our "Ships Worldwide" or "Ships to Canada/Mexico" badge below the Add to Cart button on product pages.

Returns

HeadAmp accepts returns on all items within 30 days of delivery, except those marked or agreed upon as "Final Sale". Customers will receive a refund in full, minus any extra shipping costs, after their item(s) are returned or shipped back to our Charlottesville, VA location.

Warranty

HeadAmp amplifiers include a 3-year full warranty. Customers are responsible for shipping costs on warranty work. The warranty does not cover misuse or intentional or accidental damage.

Warranty terms for other brands may vary, with headphones, DACs, speakers and accessories typically carrying manufacturer warranties between 1 and 5 years.
