Dan Clark Audio Vivo Cables

"Lightweight and well made cables for my Expanse. Terrific! Thanks Justin and HeadAmp!"

Stuart F. (5/5)

A good value.

"No surprise here. I wanted a longer cable (3 m) to reach my living room sofa from the gear under the TV than the cable I originally ordered with the E3 headphones for my desktop setup. Comparing the OEM cable to a couple of substantially more expensive third party cables the original had the best balance. The runner up was Kimberly’s pure copper headphone cable. It had less emphasis on high frequencies, a bit less shimmer and air, and I’m guessing lower series resistance, as the bass was slightly less emphasized than the OEM cable. The result was a forward midrange than was very nice with some music, but lost a little something with other music. I found music to be just more enjoyable with the OEM cable. If you’re a mix engineer, you may prefer the mid-forward Kimber sound to the slightly V shaped OEM cable sound. For the music lover who wants every track to sound awesome and just fun to listen to, I’d say almost everyone, I would stick with the DCA cables. Mostly, it’s great that the manufacturer offers extra cables for sale at a very reasonable price, and that HeadAmp has them in stock for immediate shipment. The E3 is a really amazing, all around excellent headphone, cable and all."

Excellent cable

"Very high quality cable with quality components. Sounds seems better than with the previous cable I had for my E3’s."

Ethan m. (5/5)

Solid cable

"The VIVO is less expensive than a lot of other headphone cables surprisingly. I wanted both the standard 3.5mm cable I ordered with my DCA E3 along with an XLR to try on different setups, so I have a VIVO for both. I can't compare its sound to any other cables, but this cable is very nicely built and sleeved, and it is non-microphonic. The XLR one comes with a Neutrik XLR connector. The proprietary snap-on DCA connectors are interesting; the right one is a bit fiddly for me to snap on sometimes, but that's not a big deal."

Top class act.

"Headamp is a class1 small business. Always a pleasure to deal with."

Mark S. (5/5)

Nice cable!

"VIVO cable is very well built with solid snap-on connectors and light weight. Slightly more detailed paired with Dan Clark Aeon 2 Noire than the original stock VIVO. Slight microphonics after the splitter, but very minor. Pentaconn 4.4 plug for balanced connections."
