"I know what everyone wonder… With current tubes, the Grand Cayman has more meat, muscles, bones, rumbles, slam and bass than T2. Yet T2 could be smoother and more balanced. With the driver tubes at CAF, it is more dynamic, faster, airier and bigger sounding than T2 yet the lows and rumbles are not the best making pop and modern tracks sound less appealing by contrast, yet I have experienced the best dimensions and micro details especially for Jazz, classical and even EDM. Even it is just the prototype, it is the best pairing amp for Shangrila SR. Even at the prototype stage, Grand Cayman is one of the two best electrostatic energizers in the world today. If there is anyone who could defeat the master KG among all his students, that man must be Justin. He is the best electrostatic designer in the KG clan in this generation with the original designs!"
