Great sounding open-back Bluetooth Headphones
"The HiFiMan Deva Pro is a great value for a wireless open-back headphone and has a HiFiMan familial sound signature that is similar but improved over the HFM HE5xx and HE400se when used in wired mode. The HFM Ananda Nano sound quality is clearly superior at more than twice the price, so it is not a fair comparison. I purchased the Deva Pro to complement my other cans for their intended use. I use the Deva Pro primarily in Bluetooth mode for listening to TV shows or background music while on the computer. I prefer open-back cans, and the Deva Pro does not disappoint. It is much more enjoyable, natural sounding and comfortable than wireless closed-back Sony and Sennheiser cans in my collection. I prefer the Deva Pro sound and comfort to the open-back Grado GW100x which is $75 more expensive and lacks the best quality LDAC and aptX-HD Bluetooth codecs. Be aware of the single-button Bluetooth control and become familiar with the required duration and number of button taps for accomplishing desired functions. I had no problem pairing several computers, TVs and phones. Attenuate your source audio volume before pairing the Deva Pro; it lacks volume control and will play extremely loud if source volume is at 100%. The only criticism is the relatively short 6-hour battery life and the slow charging time. I added a Capra comfort strap to the headband for better stability and to distribute the weight over a wider area on my head."
