"The unit is in my eyes stunning to look at, with very high build quality. The tube/solid state feature is great and find myself changing on genera. The solid state really livens the high end, but in a nice way. Tube really shines on piano and vocals Customer service from Justin has been top notch. Shipped within minutes of order. I had an issue with my remote on Friday and Justin was on the phone with IFi on Monday arranging a replacement. Thanks"
"This item is a very high-end product offered at a fair price. I have had the Topping A90 Discrete and the Feliks Audio Euforia EVO and this amp provides much better performance than either of those. I’ve paired it with an iFi Audio Pro iDSD Signature DAC and they work together seamlessly. I highly recommend the iFi Audio iCAN PHANTOM to anyone looking to upgrade their current chain. I don’t own any electrostatic headphones as of yet. A+."

It’s clean enough to realize the nuances of each DAC and then gives you the option to change the characteristics of the sound further to your personal liking. It has more than enough power to liven up the most demanding of headphones or IEMs comfortably & noiselessly ! "I was very excited that HeadAmp were able to very efficiently deliver me the new iFi Phantom during my US travels - their service and efficiency always impresses me, my favourite place to buy stuff! I had seen it at High End Munich but not heard it. It’s a beautifully built amp, compact and sturdy, with the SD cards to change the electrostatic headphone voltage so nearly stored magnetically attached to the back. Having chosen 580V for my Dan Audio Voce and Stax X9000 I was ready to go - tuning the impedance as well. So nice with theviFi unIt to have so many possible customisations. Comparisons with my previous favourite electrostatic headphone amp (Stax SRM-700S) quickly showed how the iFi Phantom shown using the Tube setting, another veil lifted from an already excellent sound. Somehow more life and transparency. I prefer the Stax 700S to 700T because it has more life to the music, but with the iFi Phantom the tube setting vS solid state just added warm solidity and life to the music, taking nothing away. So highly recommended. The un-energized output was tried on a pair of Meze Elite with balanced silver connectors and again the sound had that wow factor. Cannot compare with an equivalent amp, only thr headphone output from the Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC So does seem to be an ideal solution to drive both types of headphone. Other sound processing options not evaluated enough yet to comment on their usefulness. Definitely a 5* amp from a 5* supplier"
