Made with high-grade Furukawa PCUHD Copper
By combining a molding process that uses no heat-resistant materials with post-processing free from hot extrusion or rolling processes, the product can be mass-produced in a way that excludes inclusions and impurities. It possesses high malleability and drawability that allows processing up to superfine wires.
Hand braided in Baia Mare, Romania
Featuring a proven twisted design, each cable is made of 140 conductors with 0.04mm in diameter, in an eight-wire to four-wire braid configuration. Twisting the wires minimizes the energy of the magnetic fields created by each wire, allowing us to achieve proper noise and signal interference reduction. This technique accomplishes two main objectives: reduces outgoing noise and reduces incoming noise related to electromagnetic interference.

"I was looking for an aftermarket cable for my new Hifiman Arya Unveiled that I purchased from HeadAmp. HeadAmp's staff were very helpful and recommended the Meze 109 Copper cable as a less expensive option. I accidentally ordered the the single ended version when I wanted the XLR to use in a balanced headphone amp. I returned the single ended 14 " cable for the XLR. Headamp processed my return hassle free. I won't weigh too heavily into the debate about sonic enhancement of aftermarket cables, but I will say I noticed an improved spaciousness between Meze 109 the stock cable. Could it be placebo? Sure, but I did some A/B testing and to my ears the sound was noticeably improved. I also appreciate the fact that I can use these cables with my Hifiman headphone as well as potential future purchases of either Focal or Mezze, two companies I'm interested in make headphone purchases. I'm quite pleased with the prices and customer service with HeadAmp with both my Arya Unveiled and this cable. I was able to get a great price on the Arya Unveiled with an open box deal. I recommend HeadAmp and would not hesitate to make future audio purchases with HeadAmp."

- Hi, The 109 is known for it's bright and and a little thin treble. With the stock cable I find them to be a tough listen when tracks that are mixed /recorded to be peaky / sibilant even with my hearing rolling off at 12k due to age. Does this cable soften the treble at all? Thanks
- Hi, though we think the Meze 109 Pro is a fantastic headphone, you might be better off saving your money towards a Meze Empyrean if you are looking for a significant change.
