Typical headphone amplifiers demand tethering to a computer, the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition however, has all the brains and Naim’s exclusive streaming platform all built in allowing you freedom from a traditional hard wired source. The headphone-optimized version of the multi-award-wining Uniti Atom also features Balanced 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm (Pentaconn) outputs; 6.3mm output, plus is compatible with an array of headphones – we suggest Focal as the perfect partner. Offering yet more flexibility, you can keep up to three headphones plugged in and switch sets depending on what you’re listening to and when.

Uniti Atom Headphone Edition is a class-A amplifier that runs into class-AB when the going gets exciting. For example, when driving a 600Ω impedance headphone at full volume, the headphone amplifier will remain in class-A. At 300Ω at full volume the headphone amplifier will remain in class-A for all output except the last few decibles. As the impedance of the headphones drops then the point at which it slides out of class-A gets lower. Dropping to 32Ω it will be pure class-A until approximately 3.2mW and then seamlessly and transparently glide into class-AB for the remaining top 25dB.

Then when you want to listen out loud simply add active speakers, or a power amplifier and speakers – for an instant system. Uniti Atom also excels as a compact streaming pre-amplifier.

The Naim App – available for Apple and Android devices – makes it simple to control your Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, and even link up other music systems around your home into a stunning multi-room set-up. Use the App to access all your music, including your favorite radio stations, streaming services and playlists, and explore artist discographies and biographies.

Uniti Atom Headphone Edition works seamlessly with other Naim streaming products, including Mu-so systems. Choose the same song in beat-perfect sync or play different music in different rooms. You can also pair Uniti Atom Headphone Edition with other AirPlay 2-compatible wireless speakers via the Apple Home app, or with other Chromecast built-in devices via the Google Home app.

Beautiful all-in-one headphone system

"I replaced my Focal Arche headphone amplifier with the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition for the convenience of an all-in-one streaming unit. Paired with Focal Elegia headphones, the Uniti Atom HE made for a perfectly satisfying bedroom system to relax with at the end of the day. It was ready to use out of the box with ad-free Internet radio channels from Naim (no mobile device login or subscription needed) and works flawlessly with streaming content from my phone using AirPlay, Chromecast, and Bluetooth. I could hear no fault in the Uniti Atom HE's sound in any genre of music that I listened to; it was as open, natural, and detailed as I would expect from the source material. I highly recommend the Uniti Atom HE as a great value for anyone seeking an elegant and compact headphone system in this price range."
