Worthy Successor to the SR-007A
"Punchier and more dynamic than the SR-007A, warmer and smoother than the SR-009S, not at all fatiguing. Clean, well-controlled bass, vocals and midrange a little more forward than the 007A, and not as power hungry so they will go loud with a lesser amp. Getting a good fit and seal is important, like all Stax. Unlike the 007A, the earcups swivel from side to side -- but they still don't tilt like the 009S so you should rotate the beveled pads to find the best fit. Highly recommended."
