The SR-X9000 is the brand new open-back flagship headphone from STAX! Featuring their newly developed fixed electrode “MLER-3” evolved metal-mesh diaphragm, the size of which has been increased by 20% compared to the SR-009S. This breakthrough helps realize an exceptionally wide sound field. Additionally, the main material of the arc assembly is upgraded to stainless steel for improved rigidity and stability, helping the ear-speaker fit more securely. The head pad material that contacts the skin is genuine leather for improved breathability. So far we know it uses the same style headphone plug and 580V bias voltage that STAX has used previously, so it will pair beautifully with our Blue Hawaii SE.
