"The Focal headphone stand is a uniquely designed stand. It is fairly heavy for its size and it feels solid in the hand. The arch is a perfect fit for the band on my Utopia and Clear Pro headphones. When I first handled the stand I noticed the gloss black base really accentuated fingerprints. I was hoping the base was covered by a removable clear plastic sticker and that the fingerprint problem would be solved by removing it. Nope. So if you're persnickety about these sorts of things (who, me?), don't touch the damn base! It is a fine stand that matches the fantastic engineering found in /on their headphones. I used a HeadAmp gift cert to offset 1/3 of the cost of this stand. It is an expensive stand that I would not have purchased at full price, but I can see - and appreciate - the higher level of crafstmenship that went into making this thing. That is, after I wiped those pesky fingerprints off. Would have earned five stars if it had a satin or matte base to better hide fingerprints. This is my third purchase from HeadAmp (GS-X Mini and Focal Utopia were the previous purchases). These guys are climbing to the top of my list of audio drug dealers."
