The AMP17 not only supports the DX340 but is also compatible with the DX300 and DX320 players. The familiar operational logic remains unchanged, giving the impression that nothing has altered; however, the sound quality has undergone a comprehensive evolution.
Note: The DX300 and DX320 do not support external 12V DC power supply.

"The AMP17 improves upon the AMP15 in a few key ways that make the upgrade worth it. Bass slam/impact and macro-dynamics seem more present in most songs, though I feel like it comes at the cost of some microdetails. I’ve also seen some improvements in power usage with 1-2% less battery drain per hour compared to the AMP15. So far, it’s a winner and worth the upgrade!"
