Best DAP! - IBasso DX340 Titanium

"This is my first premium DAP! I ultimately chose the titanium body over the stainless steel due to the slight difference in weight but mainly because of it's resistance to scratches. This is also my first time purchasing an item from Headamp. Albeit, a bit skeptical, I was very happy with how quick the team processed my order and shipped the item out. My DAP arrived securely with the packaged being wrapped around all edges to prevent water from entering. The device itself is absolutely beautiful. It comes with many accessories that you would normally have to purchase yourself. Right out of the box, the IBasso DX340 had a pre-installed glass screen protector. It also comes with an additional glass screen protector for the front and back of the device. There are also some plastic screen protectors if you prefer those. There is a 12V external power adapter for increase output power, and a leather case -- the case looks baby blue but in bright conditions looks grey. There are other accessories which you can look up. For some people, it can be hard to grasp how heavy this item might be. I have an Iphone 16 pro max w/ a generic clear case, and the device weighs in at around 282 grams or 10oz. The IBasso DX340 with the leather case weighs in at 460 grams or 1LB 0. 3oz. I'll continue to play with the DAP and update this review if I can."

A Solid, Intuitive, and Portable Flagship DAP

"This is my first digital audio player. I had originally planned to purchase the Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, but ultimately chose the DX340 for its portability and convenience during travel. The user interface is very intuitive, and the device itself feels solid in the hand. Sound quality is excellent overall; however, with IEMs the Amp H setting can sound a little hard and forced. Aside from that, performance has been outstanding. Finally, I’d like to note that the HeadAmp team shipped the unit very quickly, which made the whole experience even better."

iBasso DX340 for the win

"This DAP is hard to beat for the price and quality of unit you will receive. To start with this is the only DAP I am aware of at the moment with an oled display. One of the best from Ibasso and I currently have a 320max ti as well. The primary feature hear is the interchangeable amp cards you can get to suit your sound signature with the AMP15 being the one it comes with. I have installed the AMP17 Gan Fet Amp from the beginning and am quite pleased with it even without much burn in time. There are other amp cards such as the tube AMP16 which I may pick up eventually but AMP17 from other reviews and forums I have seen is the most popular and I can hear why. I have owned many other DAP but this is easily the best. The sound staging, detail retrieval and quality of this DAP rival units twice its price."

Excellent DAP

"This is my first high end DAP and so far I am very impressed. UI and Mango Player are great. Did not expect that it was going to a bit heavy. Not sure if it is the battery or the components inside. Not a big issue. Just an observation. Overall, I love it."

"First time using HeadAmp. Everything got ship and delivered pretty fast. Unfortunately, got a defective item. Contacted them and they worked out a replacement. I work with tech and know sometimes things don't always work out of the box, but the companies response is what matters. They did right by me."

Great Headamp experience!

"Where do I start?!? First of all, I must say that the level of service I received from Headamp is "another level". . . By that, I mean a no hassle, fantastic transaction. Letting one know at every step of the way, where the product was- and delivered with blazing speed. On to the DAP, like a child on Christmas morning, I opened the box and was struck by the quality of the product in every way. Even the packaging screamed "quality". . . The DAP itself looks to be chiseled out of a solid piece of stainless steel and with the unit turned off, one cannot see where the metal ends and the glass from begins. Very Impressive. . . I am relatively new to great audio, so am in a learning phase now, band with the unit not burned in yet, I cannot relay a true listening experience, however, I will do another review soonest. Looking forward to buying some amazing headphone3s and tube amp next!"

Best DAP I’ve ever tried

"I replaced my Hiby R8ii with this. The DAC in the DX340 is better as is the power and amp (card 16). That and it has a better OLED screen and a newer version of android. The replaceable batteries make this thing the lasting choice. Sounds amazing, looks beautiful. It’s my 4th lifetime DAP and the best by every metric."
