5µm Multi Layered Graphene Diaphragm

Graphene is a form of carbon consisting of planar sheets with the atoms arranged in a honeycomb-shaped lattice. Graphene has a breaking strength 100 times greater than steel and as an earphone diaphragm, instead of being artificially damped, as many other material diaphragms are, iBasso’s graphene diaphragm is damped by the force of the air. Of the many benefits from graphene’s ultra thinness, extreme speed and low distortion of sound waves, is what allows it to work extremely well for audio.
