Quality Cable

iFi's 4.4mm to XLR balanced cable employs heavy OFHC continuous cast copper, silver matrix conductors 14AWG for the best signal transfer.

Custom Design

The cable construction is a custom helix design, minimised both in capacitance and inductance, minZ™. It also has intrinsic shielding provided by minZ™ helix construction. They protect the cable from RFI and EMI noise and provide the cleanest transfer medium possible.

High Insulation

To further insulate the cable, iFi adopted the RoHS compliant, excellent dielectric property and super-soft (60P) HD polymer with 1500V AC spark resistance.

Seems of good quality

"My use case is to connect my Xduuo XD05 Pro as a DAC to a Vioelectric V222 to feed my Diana MR. Although the cable is much longer than I need, 3ft vs 1ft, I think I am getting extremely low loss and extremely low noise, I have no way to compare as I don't have any other 4.4mm to dual 3-pin XLR cables. I believe the cable is basically passing the sound from the XD05 to the V222 with zero changes to the analog signal. The 4.4mm connector is so big, that it interferes with a neighbor USB-C connector which may or not matter to anyone else, I had to file down the USB-C connector a bit to get my connections."

Good so far

"Fairy well put together. Perhaps a little pricey for the quality though. I wish it was a bit longer so I could use my device from a seated position."
