Our Take

FoKus REX5 is Noble’s answer for listeners who want true wireless convenience without giving up the sound quality they expect from serious IEMs. It pairs a rare 5-driver design with Audiodo personalization to deliver a more “dialed-in” presentation than typical earbuds—while still keeping the daily-driver essentials like ANC, multipoint, and a pocketable charging case.

Audiodo Sound Personalization

Audiodo guides you through a hearing calibration to understand your hearing sensitivity and create a personalized sound profile. A standout advantage of the REX5 is that the QCC3091 chipset can store your personalized profile (including EQ) on the earbuds themselves.

That means your profile stays active even if the app isn’t open—and it can follow you when you switch devices. Audiodo also personalizes each ear individually, which can help compensate for uneven hearing sensitivity and keep vocals and imaging feeling more centered.

Once you’ve set it up, the REX5 simply sounds right—no re-tuning, no fiddling, no compromises when switching devices.

5-Driver Tribrid Design

Packing multiple driver types into true wireless is rare. REX5 uses a dedicated dynamic driver for physical low-end, a planar driver for speed and texture, and balanced armatures for articulation and upper-range detail.

The goal is better separation, control, and a more “hi-fi” presentation than typical single-driver TWS designs.

Features & Daily Use

REX5 is built for real life: commute, office, travel, and long listening sessions. ANC and Transparency modes let you tune your environment, while multipoint makes it easy to bounce between phone and laptop without the usual friction.

Fit note: Some listeners mention the REX5 has a larger “footprint” than ultra-compact earbuds. Many people find it secure and comfortable for upright listening (commuting, office, travel), but if you have smaller ears or you typically prefer low-profile earbuds that sit nearly flush with the ear, this is worth considering before you order. Like most premium multi-driver true wireless designs, it’s also best suited for secure, upright listening rather than side-sleeping use.

Incredible Audio!

"I currently own 7 different pairs of Earbuds, and the Noble FoKus Rex5 are right there in competition with my Bowers and Wilkins Pi8’s which are $500 Earbuds. The Audio is absolutely stunning via their 5-driver array. I have the Sennheiser Momentum’s, AirPods Pro 3’s, B&W Pi8’s (mentioned above), AirPods Pro 2’s, AirPods 4’s, and a couple of other pairs not worth mentioning. The app that you use with the Noble FoKus Rex5 is probably the best app I’ve seen for Earbuds thus far. At first the app gives you a detailed hearing test, and the results will become your equalizer, and it is very good! The only complaint I have with the Rex5’s is kind of an odd complaint, but the case and the earbuds are made of a light weight aluminum, which is very sensitive to the temperature in your house or wherever your listening to them, and in my case I listen to them in my house which we keep the thermostat around 70` and my Rex5’s are freezing! So I usually hold the case in my hand for a few minutes until they warm up a bit. Aside from that, these earbuds are outstanding!"

Fantastic!

"I thought my Bose Quiet Comfort were the best until I heard the Rex5. It was like night and day in every respect! The Rex5 have multiple EQ options as well. Now I want the Prestige Encore! Thanks to HeadAmp for the fast shipping!"

Noble rex5

"Very nice pair of TWS. Lived up to the reviews. Lots of bass and of course sound signature is customizable through the EQ. Touch commands are responsive and easy to work with. Build quality of the earphones and the charging case is excellent. No complaints. Don't feel like I am missing much when I have the Rex5 on compared to my more budget wired iems and great for putzing around and walking the dog. ANC is not the greatest but I have my full size Sony for that."

5* Earbuds!

"Absolutely outstanding true wireless earbuds. The FoKus Rex5 deliver a level of sound quality I genuinely didn’t think was possible from TWS. The clarity, separation, and detail are exceptional, with deep, controlled bass that never overwhelms the mids or highs. The 5-driver setup really shines, giving a spacious, almost wired-IEM-like presentation. The Audiodo personalisation is a game changer; after completing the hearing calibration, the sound feels perfectly tailored and balanced, and the fact the profile is stored on the earbuds themselves is a huge bonus when switching devices. Build quality is excellent, with a premium feel to both the earbuds and the charging case. ANC is effective without impacting sound quality, transparency mode is genuinely useful, and Bluetooth stability has been solid. Multipoint works reliably, battery life matches expectations, and the wide codec support (including LDAC and aptX Adaptive) makes these ideal for hi-res listening on the go. If you value sound quality above all else, the FoKus Rex5 are easily worth the investment and are my favourite TWS to date."

My new favorite

"I picked up the Noble Fokus REX5 during the Black Friday sale at HeadAmp for a great price. The purchase was smooth and they shipped the next day just as promised. I upgraded from a Fokus Pro I bought in Japan, and at first the REX5 didn’t sound as good out of the box. After spending some time adjusting the EQ settings, the sound really opened up. I created a W-shaped EQ profile, now it’s absolutely impeccable (for me). I went with the black finish instead of the green, and love it. They are a bit chunkier than my XM5's and the Fokus Pro, but still comfortable. The stock tips are fine, but I prefer the included double-flange tips. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the upgrade."

Noble Fokus Rex 5

"The Rex 5 are good but the real problem is the size of them because they fall from your ears . These headsets are humongous and don’t stay attached to your ears"

First Timer

"Purchased these earbuds after watching and reading other reviews. I was not disappointed. The clarity of the music was great. Additionally, the bass you get without even having to turn the bass up in the EQ I enjoyed. For the first time I didn't have to boost the bass. I also enjoy the different amounts of ear tips included and the fit for me was great and they don't fall out. Overall I really enjoyed these bids."

Great, slight learning curve

"I wish -- I really wish -- that the FoKus Rex5 TWSs were a tad more user friendly -- that's my only criticism: they don't immediately and easily connect to my DAP / phone and often each bud does so separately. All of this is rendered null when the stars align, because the sound quality itself is superb: detailed, punctuated and rich in soundscape. They truly don't even feel like they're in the same 'league' as other popular wireless earbuds (I'm looking at you Sennheiser, Apple and Devialet). These truly treat the listener to an experience that transcends what we know as listeners of music through Bluetooth. Yes, they're that good. I just hope that a firmware upgrade addresses the considerable connectivity issues. When it does, inevitably, these will be unstoppable."

Truly impressive wireless earbuds

"In my humble opinion, these earbuds are about the best you can do for wireless 'buds and for the price point. (I would almost compare them to midrange wired IEMs -- the sound quality and fidelity is that impressive. ) I think the soundstage, the depth of the bass, and the overall quality of the earbuds are the selling points with these -- but really, just about everything about them dazzles. If I had one criticism, it would be that the pairing process (with new devices and occasionally even devices they have previously paired with) can be tricky and laborious. Don't let that discourage you from purchasing -- just be prepared to fuss with them a little at first. I'll also say that the app Noble has come up with for these is second-to-none when it comes to tuning/EQing wireless earbuds -- just glance at pitiful efforts like Devialet and Sennheiser's half-baked apps and you'll agree that Noble has really put in the work here. Highly recommended."
