Great addition to the Stax setup

"This headphone stand looks great with my Stax SR-007MK2 headphone setup. The Stax headphone cover fits nicely over this stand as well, which helps keep off dust. There are certainly more economical options, but this stand looks good and does what it's supposed to do."

"Lovely real wood STAX stand with a cork bottom. Works great with the STAX dust cover on my desk! Got this stand at a great discount as well. Very happy with it, looks slick."

STAX HPS-2 Headphone Stand

"Beautiful piece of craftmanship; goes well with my X9000s. Not a rough edge anywhere. Some consider the cost excessive, but have you bought any real quality furniture lately?--I don't think so. Cork bottom for non-slip stability. Excellent quality stand for your STAX headphones."

Nice stand

"This is a really nice and simple stand. Looks good on my desk next to a pile-o-DACs. Seems that I won't knock it over, but my wife's dog's waging tail is a different story. So, if you have a dog with a wagging tail, do not put this on the low coffee table. Other than that, seems close to perfect."

Perfect Place to Keep one’s Stax

"Very nice stand that works perfectly for my Stax headphones. Does not take an excessive amount of room. Along with Stax dust cover, this keeps one’s headphones safe from dust and out of harm’s way."

Nice Stand For My Susvara's

"I recently bought the Susvara headphone from HeadAmp. I realized I needed a stand for them and asked Justin for some advice. He suggested this stand. At first, it seemed pretty pricy. But on the other hand, the Susvara is really pricy and I wanted to protect it, so I went ahead and got it. A couple of things I really like. One, the top of the stand which supports the headband is pretty thick and also has rounded corners. So this does a good job of spreading the weight over the headband. The second thing is the stand is wide enough so that the earpieces have a light clamping pressure which also helps distribute the weight. So overall it seems like a very protective environment. I also got the optional cover (STAX CPC-1 Headphone Cover). This helps protect the headphones from dust, so I really appreciate that. The only negative is it looks like a cheap plastic bag over a great headphone and a beautiful wooden stand. My cover in actual use actually looks more "crumpled" and less attractive than the picture on that product page. But unless I can find something more attractive, I'll keep it on as I think the protection from dust is worth it... So overall I am very happy with the overall solution and would buy it again."

Solid Stand

"This stand is well constructed, and performs it's job well. I have other stands that have the "omega" shape-that was a bit of an issue for a pair of Lamba-style Stax phones, which didn't have much clearance between the bottom of the stand and the termination of the cord to the headphone-it was always a little close for comfort. With the substitution of this Stax stand, plenty of clearance for the cables and a more compact footprint."

Pretty Nifty

"I had been using some generic but nice headphone stands for my Stax SR007 MK II but decided they and their younger sibling 95 xx Koss could use an upgrade. This was a great choice for the Stax. Beatufiul fit and the wood is a bit darker than in the picture which works well for me. The 95 Koss does not adapt as well so I have changed it back in anticipation of buying an SR009 for my self granted birthday wish and will put that one on the second stand. Also of note I bought the covers. Think they work well on Stax but not other ES. Overall very happy with these purchases."
