Perfect Partner for Stax SR-L500 MK2

"Amp powers my Stax SR-L500 MK2 headphones in a musically satisfying manner. Full, clear sound. No listening fatigue. Excellent build quality, amp is silent with no hum or rattling physically as it operates. Everything works and feels good as I expect from things made in Japan. The volume control has a good amount of travel before music gets too loud. Bargain at the retail price. A design classic!"

Addictive sound

"Very nice synergy with a pair of L700MK2, makes them sound full and easy to listen to. The energizer barely gets warm for a tube unit. Things sound organic and natural, vocals and acoustic guitars have a life like timbre that's addictive to listen to. I hear no tube distortion, the sound is very smooth yet detailed and clean from this hybrid design. I can tell the unit was designed with the L300,L500,L700 stax in mind. The L700MK2 sounds complete and enjoyable with the 500T, I'm now having a hard time returning to my harbeth speakers."
